TESTIMONIALS

  • My name is Abigael Jepchirchir. I am a Kenyan, currently undertaking a Master of Science degree in Analytical Chemistry at Moi University, School of Sciences and Aerospace Studies. My postgraduate education is funded under the Africa Centre of Excellence in Phytochemicals, Textile and Renewable Energy (ACE II – PTRE) scholarship. Being a Master of Science student under ACE II-PTRE has given me a chance to receive a competitive grant from Lorraine Universite d’ Excellence (LUE), France, for an internship programme which will take 6 months.

This scholarship (internship programme at LUE), has given me a golden opportunity to obtain a handful of skills in Analytical Chemistry as well as interact with researchers from my field of study. In the course of my study, I am working under Philippe Gerardin, Director of LERMAB, LUE; Prof. Ambrose Kiprop and Dr. Sarah Chepkwony of Moi University and Prof. Francis Mburu of Maasai Mara University. Currently, I hold a Bachelor of Science with Education (Chemistry / Physics) from Moi University. The collaboration between Moi University and LUE will positively impact many scholars in future.
