• I am Nonsikelelo Sheron Mpofu, a Zimbabwean student pursuing a PhD in Materials and Textile Engineering under the ACEII-PTRE scholarship. This scholarship has afforded me the opportunity to study in a different country and interact with friendly people from various nationalities and educational backgrounds within the Moi University community. Studying at Moi has provided me with exceptional education and has also taught me the importance of conducting quality research. I have also understood the significance of sharing knowledge through journal publications and conference presentations. The lecturers are eager to share their expertise with students so as to assist them to achieve their goals. I believe that the exposure received in my PhD studies will enable me to make a valuable contribution in Materials and Textile Engineering.
